Syed Zafran was born in 1996 in Kuala Lumpur and received his primary education at St. John before attending Victoria Institution, where he became the Vice President and later President of the Board of Orchestra, showcasing his talent in piano and violin. Initially a quiet and timid student, he became more social and expressive at 17. He pursued a Diploma in Multimedia, Advertising, and Broadcasting at LimKokWing University, where his singing talents flourished, allowing him to perform for royalties, politicians, and diplomats. His active participation earned him the Royal International Goodwill Ambassador Title and the Command Excellence Award. He later completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia (Hons) in Advertising Design at Multimedia University, graduating with a 3.5 CGPA in 2024. While actively performing at MMU events, the COVID-19 pandemic and his entrepreneurial journey led him to focus on business, co-founding SmileStudio in 2020 with his brother, Dr. Syed Zafri.
